With Christmas soon to be upon us, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our broker and insurer partners who have supported our many endeavours, initiatives and events over the course of the last year. Much like the The Wind in the Willows, seeds of change have been sown in insurance, bringing highs and lows to the industry and considerable strain in many cases, but alongside this, fantastic opportunities to those forging ahead with technology.
This year we tackled Ogden, IPT, SFCR, introduced two new products, Zenith IHR and Solar Distinction (HNW) and we launched a state of the art APP, TRiCE with insurtech enabler RDT. As a group we’ve also made waves with our Internet of Things (IoT) platform via VisionTrack and spent months educating the industry on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) via Auto Windscreens.
It’s an exciting time of revolution for insurance in every sense; the way it’s purchased, rated, assessed and everything in between is transforming and I can’t wait to see how this develops. I’m also delighted to say that as 2017 comes to an end, we’re in the strongest position we’ve ever been in. Regulation, although disruptive, forces us all to adapt and get our ducks in a row. As an agile business this puts us in great stead for whatever comes next.
Though Kevin, Keith, Martyn and I are not quite as extreme in characteristics as Toad, Badger, Mole and Rat (I hope), we are a great team and bear similarities in demonstrating what can be achieved collectively with determination and a brilliantly masterminded plan! Add your support to this and the world is our oyster.
This year, we’ve decided to ring the changes with a festive animated Christmas card featuring Kevin as Toad, me as Rat, Keith as Badger, and Martyn as Mole – as well as the rest of the senior management team and broker managers as you’ve never seen them before. Can you spot who’s who?
